Sedu Hairstyles > Damaged Hair Help
Trendy hair style and beautiful hair color is every woman's (and man's) wish. Bot even more than that, they wish for shiny and luxuriant hair like the ones on commercials. But hair dyes, various acids, hairdos, hair sprays, waxes and hair-dryer damage our hair even more than sun and winter. The hair needs nourishment. First thing is a healthy diet, and the second is outside help.
Castor oil for deep nourishment
Mix 1 tablespoon of castor oil with 2 tablespoons of almond oil. Rub it into the hair and wrap some aluminium foil and a warm towel around your head. Leave it for an hour. If your hair is severely damaged, you can leave it over night.
Nourisment with mayo
Mayonnaise is made with eggs and oil and thus it quickly recovers damaged hair and split ends. Put a layer of mayo all over your hair and wrap up with aluminium foil and a warm towel. Leave it for an hour and then wash your hair as usual.
Eggs and honey
Eggs have always been a widely applied natural medicine for dry and damaged hair. Take 2 yolks and a tablespoon of honey and mix it into some water with lemon juice added. Hold it in your hair for 15 minutes and then rinse. You can whisk the egg whites and use it as a natural conditioner.
Sour cream in almond oil
Sour cream and almond oil are especially necessary for hair damaged with acids, highlights or chemical straighteners. Mix 2 tablespoons of sour cream with 2 tablespoons of almond oil and rub gently into the hair. Leave for 30 minutes, wash regularly and rinse with water in which you added some apple vinegar.
